Why Cycle?
Grove and the surrounding area is a beautiful place to ride your bike with a wide variety of scenery and designated traffic-free routes.
You can cycle to all the facilities in Grove and Wantage within a 20-minute cycle ride, and access National Cycle Route 544. Route 544 connects Didcot to Wantage and The Ridgeway via 12-miles on quiet roads, byways and purpose built paths, offering a tranquil way to explore South Oxfordshire. A number of local schools, shops, sports facilities and employment areas are accessible within 15 minutes from Wellington Gate.

Cycling UK Wantage
Cycling UK Wantage is the local member group of Cycling UK, the UK's national cyclists' organisation, covering Grove, Wantage and surrounding towns and villages.

They are a friendly group offering rides for all types of recreational rider, catering for beginners, families and more experienced riders – in fact anyone who enjoys a bit of fresh air and exercise on two wheels. They operate a regular programme of rides and social events that are open to all members.
