Bus and Community Transport
Public Transport can be quicker, cheaper and more convenient than using your car and provides a significant environmental benefit. Using public transport can remove the stress of finding a car parking space, sitting in traffic and the costs of owning a car. Furthermore, you can travel to your destination while you relax with a newspaper or catch-up on social media.
Where are my nearest bus stops?
The nearest stops to Wellington Gate are located on Whitley Close, found directly adjacent to the site alongside Newlands Drive. These stops are served by the X36 Connector service.

Services are also available from the Wessex Way bus stops on Brereton Drive, located approximately 650 metres (8 minute walk) from the southern site access, which are served by the BB4, NS9 and S9 services.
Additional services are available from the Mandhill Close bus stops along Main Street, approximately 1 kilometer (12 minute walk) from the southern site access, which are served by the NX1 and X1 Connector services.
As part of the development, a bus route will run through the development once constructed. Keep your eyes out for more information on this when available.
